Kittyhawk's new HH-60G Pave Hawk

It's finally arrived, the new HH-60G Pave Hawk in 1/35th. This is just a brief first look at what the specific parts are that differ from the MH-60L released earlier. I'll be doing a full review and blog of this kit in more detail soon.

Two marking options in  this kit, AFSOC Grey and Euro 1

New sprue G (replaces the G sprue in the MH-60L).

AF style FRIES bar

All of you wondering where the ESSS fairings that were missing from the MH-60L kit came from, they were stolen from this sprue. Although mentioned in the instructions, they are missing. KH representative informs me they are "not needed for this version" so they will not be sending them out as replacement parts.

Two resin pilots in this release, definitely an improvement over the Little Bird figures.

  1. Did your pilots come with NVGs? Mine did not.

The instructions show them. I may steal some extra WW2 binos from spare kits and trim them to appear like NVGs.

    1. Pretty sure mine weren't included either. Not a big deal as I'm planning on using the much nicer Live Resin pilots anyway.

    2. No! Mine did not come with them either.

  2. Hi there, I just purchased the 1/35 scale kitty hawk hh-60g "pave hawk". And upon looking at the instructions I noticed it showed two extremely detailed resin figures and two sets of NODS "night optical devices, NVG'S or night vision goggles which did not come with the kit. Is it not needed in this kit??
